silhouette steel mk11,any body had experience of said boat?

I am now nearly finnished refurbishing a steel MK11 silhouette ,belived to be the last known steel one,has anybody ever sailed one or had experience of a steel silhouette,built in Rochester around 1966/67,any help or advice ,or even memories very welcome ,

Hi Jim be glad if you could enquire round your area ,she was built in rochford and used to sail crouch area,as i have two harbour licences tickets for 1966 and 1967 ,some body in that area must be able to shed some light on her ,have sent e-mails to all the sailing clubs in the area ,but not even one reply only the harbour master and his records don't go back that far ,at least he had the decency to reply more than any of the sailing clubs

I made a load of enquiries and got nowhere....

As I live in Canewdon, and have always cruised the Roach area, I should know something?

hi again yes i did ask when I first bought her ,but I would like to find someone that has sailed one to find out how they differ from other MK11 etc
