sikaflex 291i----how to clean up/off before it sets??

I don't why I think this:

Using a spirit solvent, turps, wicks between the 2 surfaces, of the base and the item being attached, and reduces the strength of the bond. I thought the recommended clean up was, concentrated soapy (washing up detergent) water and lots of rags. As John says - use masking tape where ver [possible

Cleaning places where you have made a mess, turps.

Apart from pins in new shirts, Sikaflex is the most certain indication yet for the proof of existence of Satan. The harder you try to make a clean job of it, the more likely you are going to get yourself and everything else covered in it.

Big Paul has the answer, panel wipe, is great, from an apprentice spray painter , panel beater , (family business)
Just to put my environment hat on , baby wipes or any wipes are land fill , I know we all care about the environment here ;)

I also used it during my time in the motor trade. Not many things will remove wax and silicone good enough to paint over.

Acetone might not be the best answer for some plastic transducers.

I've mentioned it several times on here (no-one seems to take much notice), automotive panel wipe will remove all Sika type adhesives/sealants, silicon, butyl and most other sticky adhesives. It will not harm any plastics.
Will these wipes also remove Sticks Like Sh#t??

That's why I prefer to use the black variant when bedding stuff down on a white surface. You can see where it's gone before you put your elbow in it and make things worse.
