I'm thinking of rebedding my chainplates this weekend with Sika 292. The instructions say that minimum temp of application is 10C which is about the daytime temp where I am.

The temp will drop overnight - does anyone know if this will prevent the 292 from curing properly?

I'm planning on leaving the plate fittings 'loose' for a couple of days before tightening btw.

Maybe some extra info in the Users guide
or the Marine manual

maybe also on the product data sheet if you can locate that on the Sika website.

Generally though I expect the curing time to simply be longer at lower temps. Maybe important to protect from rain or dew initially.

Thanks for your advice, as it turned out I ran out of time so I'll finish the job next weekend. At least everything was sound although I was suprised to find that a couple of them had started to leak. Thanks to Vic as well for the links.
