Signal Flag Labeling...

Does anyone know if it is possible to buy small ceramic tiles with signal flags depicted on them for marking their place in a set of wooden pigeon-holes? We are in final stages of building a 90ft classic style motor yacht and the owner has seen these items somewhere and wants to have them too! Hope someone can help.

I fancy that small plastic labels (rather than ceramic tiles, though they might be mistaken for the latter) are used on chartroom flag racks by shipyards in Japan, South Korea and China. A supplier of standard labelling for ships, such as IMO signage, of the EXIT, LIFEBOAT, NO ENTRY, etc., type might have them or be able to find them.

Failing which, label the pigeon holes with the alphabet and the numbers and flatter the owner by assuming he knows them.

can't imagine you could get them off the shelf but i have a friend who specialises in hand-decorating tiles and could no doubt do the job. PM me if you're interested.
