SIBS

Go on Tuesday, first weekend out the way and settled in to a routine and not too busy.

This does of course open the flood gates now for everyone to criticize me and tell me that other dates are better in a way only this forum can!

I always go on preview day and even then several boats already have signs on them saying "sold" or "owned by Mr So & So", I'd be scared to go any later than preview day in case there was nothing left to buy. I doubt by Tuesday you'd even be able to take out a magazine subscription, there'd be none left to buy which is wht Richard hands out the free beer and ciders on Tuesdays to placate irate disappointed potential punters.

Cheers, Brian.

I always go to the Workboat show, have done ever since they started at Port Solent all those years ago. Love it, usually talking to a guy on a stand who probably designed and manufactured the item you are talking about, as you say no hot tubs, flat screen tellies just working boats and no bull$hit sales people (not that they all like that I must add)
Saying that it would not suit everyone.
