Planning to spend a day at new show and a day looking at used boats. Not knowing the area well where should we go and in what order to view as many used boats as possible?
Cheers
SBS will be busiest at w/e, so I'd try to go on a weekday.
Although the distances arent huge, it does seem to take lot of time looking over one yard and moving to another.
I'd also suggest that you find out what boats you are interested in at the used shows, and give them your name in advance. Firstly, save a trip if there isnt anything up your street, and second you are likely to get a bit more attention and time from a broker if he can separate you from tyre kicker number 112 that day!
The plan is to do new on fri and used on sat. Will check stock nearer the time just wanted to work out best route assuming staying in or around Southampton remembering heading back to sunny wales sat evening.
Premier yacht sales at Swanwick do a free of charge bus to the boat show from the marina and back again if you want to look at the used boats and then go on to the SBS. By the way if you're looking for 42 foot boats, we have a FABULOUS 420 Sealine for sale at Premier........ Also, Solent Motor Yachts who are opposite Swanwick have a used boat show on at the same time, although they'll all be sealines
