We used the park and ride last year bit of a pain with armfulls of goodies to lug around, I would go for the mscp option if I were going this year!

On our mid week visits have avoided the P & R.Have alaways used one of the many unoffical car parks along the main drag.Normally lots of hand scrawled signs indicating a bit of space.Last year was a small car auction type site and the year before a car park belonging to a nite club. Most are within 10 mins of entrance to show.Just remembered that last time that big council park was showing quite a bit of free space.
Ps V. nice italian rest., up by ferry term if you want to eat decent./forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Yes about a tenner all day.

And if you get there earlier enough there is a pay and display carpark just over the road from the red funnel terminal, which is about a fiver all day. If you go on sunday. free until midday. then a couple of squid afterwards.
