Went to Southampton yesterday. £1 each way on the slow Mega train (only 20 mins more than the fast train). Ticket for free from WHSmith at Waterloo with two YBW boating mags - so even cheaper than the RYA offer! Took my own food. Total for the day - £11. Bargain!
