I’ve spent a lot of time on the sunseeker stand at this point:
So I go for a quick nosey around the predator 62:
The weather had dared to go cloudy for 15 minutes at this point:
This incredible button in the armchair of the helm seat moved it forward and backward, and reclined – I was sold /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif :
OK, finally off the stand now – needed to cover some ground and make up for lost time:
Went down to the Bounty and had a look around – crewing opportunities were available, I’m sure that would be an incredible experience if you were into that kind of thing, which as it happens I’m not /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Also, well done to the jack Sparrow lookalike – very friendly bloke and he was an absolute spitting image! I had to do a quadruple take to make sure Johnny depp hadn’t popped round for the day in his casual wear!
After that little look round and a chat with the buxom wenches in the bowels of the ship, I headed over to the Absolute stand for a proper look around, and to meet Trevor (nautical)
I arrived and took some pictures – I heard the name trevor being bandied around but the guy looked pretty busy so I decided to check out the new 47HT first – and I have to say I loved it!
I went on after some guy ‘catastrophe’ – I was surprised as to the lack of towels and cushions that other boats seemed to have many of…
Unfortunately after asking in my finest non-brummie accent if it was trevor from the forum, turns out it was his brother, who said nautical was currently out on a sea trial - doh!!!
A quote from the text i received from Trev: "been out sea trialling on the 41 (rest were chickens, only an absolute out at the needles in this kind of weather!)" /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Took a walk around the marina – at this point the weather was turning rather inclement so we had to have a hurried tour and somehow missed Jez and the westlines! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif  Sorry about that Jez, it started to chuck down and we were the other side of the marina so had to take shelter in the Holiday Inn – I really wanted to take some photos of the westies but I’ll save it for next time /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Azimut something ‘S’ – think it was 68 but not completely sure.
Okay, part 3 over!
Tune in soon for the final part (4) for an exclusive!!!
