However, depending upon what it needs, the simplest and least expensive solution may just be a new pump. Even though spares were available for mine--it only needed a diaphragm kit--I just replaced it. It was a 15 minute job. I took the old one home and put both a diaphragm kit and a valve kit in it and kept it as a spare.

I had a similar problem a couple of months ago when the motor in my Shurflo failed. I didn't manage to repair/find a repairer, but replaced it with similar at a cost of £8O. I don't know if the one on my Biscay was the same as yours, but model number 2095-423-342 was a one-for-one swop. The only difference being a slightly shorter body. It's quieter too!
