I have a Shurflo freshwater pump that is an original fitting on my 1996 Fairline
It is leaking very badly from the pump chamber
As far as I can read the model number is 2095 423 342.....final digit might actually be a 7 though. 2.8GPM, 7.5A max.
I want the simplest, quickest swap, whether that be a new chamber of whole new pump.
So obviously I want the same mounting, size and plumbing if I replace the whole unit.
Has anybody replaced the chamber or one of these pumps recently please?

not sure this will be helpful, but I just replaced my flojet fresh water pump.
My pump was rated at 17lpm flow rate, so a little more powerful than yours, however I purchased one of these;

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250629497864

now these are branded as ProPumps but apparent copies of shurflow pumps, but if this unit was not made in the same factory as the Flojet pump (and I am sure countless other makes) I would eat my proverbial hat. The unit was 100% identical so it was a 2 minute job, snap fixings for pipes didn't need changing, just slotted straight into new pump.

I see the same seller does have a 10lpm pump so possible he has others, but very reasonably priced and very good...

Yes - last year I took out the old and went on their web site and ordered a direct replacement. That bit was easy. Getting rid of the air from the HW was a different matter until Princess told be about the v/v on the top of the water heater :-)

£100 I think

Hey can you expand on that a bit for me as I have a new Princess and neither Princess or I can get any hot water through the system. They have been trying for would you believe 4 months and we still await a result. My wife is screaming with frustration. Dont ewver buy new is my advice

I'm surprised to hear that - although I see you are on the east coast so might not get the guys who I dealt with at Swanwick who were, and are still, very helpful to me.

My issue was that when I ran water there were air locks that caused the flow to pulse, it was fixed when I lifted the P/V valve on the calorifier. It seems that crud can get under the seal and cause a small leak. Lifting it shifted what was there and all taps operate now as before. Good strong continous flow.

Cannot understand why Princess cannot get yours working - I assume its piped in and at least works when the engine runs?

Thanks for responce. In fact they cannot get the water to heat from the engine or the immersion heater. This has been a problem for 4 monthsa now and were on the 3rd water pump, second immersion heater and second water mixer valve. Weeks go by and then they try something, leaving it for me to say if its worked and then they try something else and Princess just seem as though they dont know what to do. LIke you had I did wonder if its an airlock
