A friend of a friend is now suffering from Legionaires disease.It appears he was exercising his shooting dogs and to save time he decided to have a shower in the M.D,s office shower when he got to work.He caught Legionaires which was verified later that it came from the shower.(which was rarely used).Probably as boat owners we ought to flush the shower thro. with really hot water before using.Problem is we would have to hold our breath while doing it!! We all take care that we flush the water tank and fill with clean water (which contains chlorine) but we dont bother about the shower and the residual water in it.I know from now on I shall take more care.
