My daughter is about to move out of her top floor flat at the Quays, with three balconies, just behind the Buttery, by the steam crane and overlooking Bristol floating dock, I shall miss it.

This was the view looking west down Milford Haven Waterway under the Cleddau Bridge on Saturday 30th June with the flotilla of sailing boats that had gathered for Seafair Haven 2018, led by ‘Johanna Lucretia’. The entrance to Neyland is just ahead of us as Colin Evans’ ‘Razorbill’ shows her sternpost to my ‘Corianne’.

A great event only slightly spoiled by the very light breezes.
