Should the Forum benefit from a choice of Burgees?

Pending Henry F showing us his stunning new burgee design it's been suggested a Poll is called for. Remember, it's not to replace the existing one, just to give forumites the option to fly something different.

Would make telling who was a forumite less clear for newbies. No club that I know of has a choose your own design approach.

All for other house flags to be available for different purposes but think there should be one "official" burgee.

Was going to do that David... popped my head in there to do so, saw the rather long thread about naked Germans and ran a country mile right back outta there

I like the forum burgee...but even if I didn't, its the forum burgee so why change it? If you want to fly something different then make yourself a house flag and fly it, .... but don't change the forum burgee...

edited bit........ had not read the war & peace discussion on forum burgee. Now I'm not sure what to think.. I like the design of the current burgee, I like the quality of the old burgee and would not spend £31 on a new version that looks pretty awful in comparison (and I do apologise for those people who have gone out their way to kept the forum burgee alive by getting it re-manufactured somewhere else). Perhaps I may be curious to see what designs are knocked up on a new version.... nice if it remained near enough the same though... then my old one can still be flown!

Don't want to split the conversation into 2 threads but there may be a really good solution to this.
