Tutt's had other plans. Still not sure what they were but anyway. Were going TOMORROW.
So all day long I'm buggering about finding things to do. Even rolled the field with fourtyfive gallon oil can at seven oclock tonight I was so bored. Then came in to watch the telly. But it's broke and gone to the menders. So as a last resort. feeling sory for myself, I turned to my trusty super boosted turbo charged Organ! Now I have a habit of slightly changing the emphasis and the beat. So the effect come out some what different than the writer intended. Anyway I started playing this and could not help thinking of Kim. So as a dedication. Specialy for Kim. Here it is. You will have to hum the tune yourselves though!!

Cant you see.

I love you.

Please dont break my heart in two.

Thats not hard to do!

Cos I dont have a wooden heart??

And.

If you say goodbye.

Then I know that I would cry.

Maybe I would die!!!!!

Cos I dont have a wooden heart.

-------------------

Theres no strings.

On this love of mine.

It was always YOU.

from the start.

Treat me nice.

Treat me good.

Treat me like you really SHOULD.

Cos.

I'm not made of wood.

And. I dont have a wooden Heart.

No one can force me to come here-----------

No more lessons until I know what you're gonna' buy! Cats is dif rent they is, dif rent techniques! Rather have wet smelly dog than a CAT! Youll have to get used to some very, very strange antics at anchor, coz' with all that beam, marinas are going to love you! and your bank account! Can't you reconsider, I know theys' comfortable an' safe an' no heely, an great to lie on off the beach an' can go almost anywhere shallow, an' got stacks of room, but theys' got two hulls, it aint natural for a man to have two hulls! Like bigamy tis' I know you've got two dogs, but really, it's just showing off!

To be totally honest, I like cats, The only drawback that I can see with them is mooring charges and the anchor thing, but they can be overcome, of course people will say they don't go to windward and they slam, some do slam, most won't go to windward very well, but who wants to beat into the wind all the time anyway! Twin engines, one in each hull and they turn on a tanner, or even as I said hydraulic motors and single central engine, which is a good idea, as you can run a hydraulic generator aswell and fridge tcompressor, all form a centarlly soft mounted soundproofed engine, I saw this system once, it was fabulous and queit! But the slamming thing, they do do that, but more modern ones are much better! Anyway as I said could be the answer for you, especially if you want to learn to sail without all the heelling about and it doesn't frighten the women folk! or dogs! whichever is more important!!

By the way, Haydn, the burgee is now flying proudly from my stemjack, in the harbour in Ibiza town, but at €95 a night, not for much longer!! I will be heading north, to puerto pollensa, hopefully shortly after I get back, have to load the motor bike, then leave first lilght, on my own and head north, I will then arrive in daylight and anchor, if theres no room in the marina. My Brother is coming down, carrying the new anchor winch motor, which we will then modify the mountings and fit! I've gone off the idea of a new £6k anchor winch and chain!! Theres a yard there, and apparently a fair number of Brit type liveaboards and residents, which could come in very useful, if I have to head back to work!! Hope you're having/had a great weekend, is the weather being kind?

Pollensa - was there on holiday last year

Last August I stayed nearby in Pollensa town and visited Puerto Pollensa quite a bit. Nice place - lots of boats. Had a good day trip on a 40ft Ketch called Landfall - a guy originally from the UK runs it (Mike I think his name is). Excellent restaurant there called Stay - recommended!

Try and see Pollensa town if you havn't before - it's about 5 miles inland

Cheers

Thanks for the advice, I'll try the restaurant! I will need some Brit types around, when I go back to work, it would be nice to have somebody keep an eye on/look after the boat, I'll even pay them! Hows that for an offer!!

Re: Pollensa - was there on holiday last year

You may be able to get this guy to help - he does day charters during the summer with his wife (they are liveaboards) then they have a flat in Pollensa town where they spend the winter restoring antiques and painting I seem to remember! Very nice couple anyway but like I said - my only connection with them is a day trip!

They anchor the boat in the harbour - if you like I can scan the flyer I have here (some pics of boat on it) and email it to you.

I seem to remember (but could be wrong) him saying that there was no charge to anchor in the harbour - would this be right?

Cheers

Theres no charge for anchoring in the bay, which is basically a big harbour. I don't know how much it is in the marina, but if I can anchor, and somebody is looking after the boat, I'm happy enough! Yes, please send me the details, I'll PM you with my E mail address.
