It depends on whether you think you have a 'duty of care' to your crew.

You should advise them of the dangers when the sun is shining of sun burn and skin cancer.

If they don't take your advice then you can always get them to sign a disclaimer if you are at all worried.

Mind you if it's raining then let the suckers get wet.
