Hi there Folks
I have a pair of gortex Henri Lloyd bib and brace which I bought off ebay the other year but they are two inches too long (being a bit of a midget myself) in the leg. Does anybody know where I can can send them to be shorten? I have tried HL at the SHBS but they dont do it them selfs and couldnt reccomend anybody that could.
I dont really want to trade them in for something which fits a bit better as I doubt that I will get as good a bargin (£35 new).
cheers Pip /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

look up your local fabric retailers in yellow pages (high street type). They are often on retail estates along with Halfords etc etc. They usually have people on site or on retainer who do this sort of stuff as a sideline, and are very good at it too.

I have a pair of Musto MPX trousers which were a good eight inches too long for me (OK, call me Shorty!). I shortened them myself, with the main problem a band of non-waterproof stitching just above the Velcro ankle tongue. I reckoned that since this would anyway overlap my boots it shouldn't be a big problem.

Oh yes, they're probably the only pair of MPX trousers with shin protectors instead of knee reinforcement!
