Hi all, my V seating area converts to a bed using the table as an insert to fill the gap.
I'm assuming it should have a short pedestal post to provide proper support, but the boat did not come with one.
It's a 1990's Hardy Seawings 254

Is it normal to use a short pedestal post where the V seating converts like this, or should the table be strong enough.
If I need one can anyone suggest where tick one up please? Required length would be 43cms

Many Thanks
