shore power lead

dose any one known where i can get a metered lead apart from my local mariner as they seam to want to charge me enough to make about 10 leads but only supply me with 1

any help would be good

You can get secondary metres from city electrical factors or similar trade supplier, cost is about £40 if memory serves me right. Then you will need to connect it in line to a shore power lead, as you will not be able to buy one pre wired for this particular application. If you ask around at a few trade suppliers sometimes you can let on ex electric board meters for the cost of a few pints.

I asked the manager of an MDL Marina about the cost of metered leads, and was told that they are not allowed to make profit from electricity charges! INCLUDING HW SUCH AS LEADS! he assured me that this was the cost to them!
