Shoe laces

Someone posted how to tie shoelaces so they dont untie a while back, worked really well, my deckshoes always coming undone but not with this method.

forgotten it and cant find it, anyone know it?

I just do a series of under and over knots (like a multiple reef knot) until all the lace is used up, then tuck the result between the tongue of the shoe and the criss-cross laces above it. Once done it lasts forever (or until the shoes fall apart).

i find a reef knot & cut off the excess to about 1 1/4 " ( 32m/m ) works 4 me.
then just ease the foot into the shoe each time without un-lacing

Try the "better bow" - two turns round the loop before the loop before pulling through and snugging.
