Friday and Sat saw huge storms battering our area. One of the many ships around the rock dragged anchor and broke in two right on the lighthouse rocks.

See youtube just search giraltar shipwreck. Both Marinas Marina Bay & Queensway are closed today due to pollution

They did open the boom briefly at Marina Bay at about 3 this afternoon to allow a flotilla of yachts out, mostly from the local sailing schools. Not a good day for the Dolphin watchers though!!

Was in the middle of survey on possible acquisition (in Sotogrande) when the whole thing was unfolding over the radio. Real fear in the skippers voice as he was calling for assistance. Not a position any of us would like to be in !!!

Sorry Clive said we'd try and call in on you but she came up on Wed eve ahead of the storm. Good survey (thanks for recomendation of surveyor) now think their is a bit more negotation to take place for the deal to happen. Nothing major, but a million minor things to sort. fingers crossed.
