Shipmate CP32

Does anyone know if the Shipmate CP32 Antenna comes apart and how?
The junction where the antenna cable goes into the antenna has broken, the cablehas snapped off and it needs a new one, but I cant get the old one off.
This is for an elderly gentleman and I am trying to save him having to pay £150 for replacement

Sorry, Sealed at the factory, so it is a new one or cut the old one open.
