I've booked Friday off for boating. So expect floods, red boards and collapsing lock gates by Thursday tea time.

Nice pics OG.

Its at the old Town Wharf at the top of Faversham Creek. We like Faversham...more pubs than you shake a stick at !

Quite a few went down this morning on the tide , LRYC and WMC first at 0530 , then we had bookings for 21 D/S @ 0600 ( I waited with the early man until 0630 / 0645 , and nothing materialised )

Then we has 28 narrow boats booked for 0800 going to Little Venice for a festival ? Don't know if they turned up , I was safely tucked up in bed by then.

Looks like people have plans for the weekend though , which is a good thing.

Only been there by road, what deeps of water do you get at high water. Would prefer to take the boat up and have a look rather than anchor and take the inflatable.

We draw 3ft.The last time we were in there it was a decent tide.Sounder was showing 6ft under keel.
The bottom next to wall is very soft, basically about 2ft of slurry on top of soft bottom.
Boat sat nicely upright had shore lines out fore and aft and a couple of springs.
This proved useful when the automatic creek flushing system empties out around 3? hours after HW.
