She\'s gone ...

Agreed last winter with SWMBO we would buy a larger boat since kids are growing too fast, want to do longer trip, have a bit more comfort on board, invite party with kids and the lot. Constraint : budget does not permit two boats at the same time, so current one has to go before other one arrives (planned 2008). Put her up for sale end of May just to 'get a feeling' for the market. Hundres of viewings, no calls entire month. Suddenly : one caller and ... sold in one week.

Never thought I would spend the rest of the season boatless /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Although, now have plenty of time scoping out the next one.

As some may know, I'm in the market for a end 90's Fairline Targa 37-39, Princess V40 or potentially Phantom 38 / Princess 38 Flybridge. Will definitely be visiting UK in coming months to look at boats. Anyone thinking of privately selling next season ?

Here are a few pictures of our Seabird going ...

Re: She\'s gone ...

new owner proably as pleased as you were when you first got her!

Think of the money, high interest account, no maintenance, fuel...and lots of time to change yoiur mind about what to buy next!

Kelly,

We fell in love with the boat too when we saw it 3 years ago.
She now has 520 hours (280 when we bought her), never had any problems in those years. Nice cockpit, cosy interior although second bunk under cockpit quite small even for 2 kids.

New owner was pleased and already sent some pictures at her new berth near Amsterdam.

Cheers,
Alain

Jimmy ... if I had known she would go so fast, I could have bought yours (maybe).
