It seems to have been for ever ashore this time, but she's in now,on her berth, bunkered this morning ready for Saturday's 6am kick off, and the weather can do what it likes!:D Happy days.

Nice to see the piccies.
Part of me is looking forward to next winter as I'm already collecting the bits and pieces for various jobs.
Hope to see you out and about this weekend.

That's a bit of a gloomy outlook Edward, I suppose you've been afloat during that early show of summer a couple of weeks back, I was ashore varnishing and antifouling during that time wishing it was in the water.:(

BTW Did you get your new galley fitted?

It's because I don't really get enough use in the summer. Other people have it booked. Once the end of the season arrives every weekend is back on the boat again.

Looks great, David. But what, if I may ask, is happening at 6am on Saturday or whence are you kicking off?

Where I berth is tidal Martin, I've got to get out of the basin before the water does! I've only got about 0.4 under me on these neaps at high water, this Saturday is 3.9m @ 06:08, I'll probably sleep on the boat Friday night to make sure I don't miss it, last Saturday it was 5.0m with the low that was over us, this weekend I'm acting as committee boat for our sailing club race around the cans over the weekend.

Main business will be drinking tea and keeping out of their way:D

My berth is to the stern of this trawler at high water,

Same place, but ahead of the trawler at low water:eek:

Boat is looking very good Epervier. I was in Portsmouth on Bank holiday Monday and it felt like it was blowing a gale, but it didn't stop a sister ship to yours (Another Weymouth 32) ploughing on through, looked to be handling the conditions with ease. Seems a very capable boat.

Thank you all for the compliments, very kind of you, she's 40years old next year and there's still a long way to go before she's up to a standard I'm happy with, one of my dilemmas is where to mounts that 780kgs ships anchor, with all the noise about Rocna, I thought I'd make sure mine holds:D

She'll go in almost all conditions, but the wipers don't work fast enough:D

very wet boat in the rough.

A good feeling when she is back in the water after a long lay-up.

Is that your normal berthing arrangement David, up against the wall? Does she sit flat in the mud at LW.

It would be nice to bolt some big section vertical timbers into that concrete wall and run horizontal fender-boards outside your own fenders.
