I quick question for the panel.
One of the vessels that I regularly drive in the Lower Tidal Thames was relocated above Shepperton Lock for the duration of the Olympics. The other guy who skippers the vessel is unavailbale for the return trip so I will have the con for the return passage. Whilst I know the lower Thames well, I have only been on the upper Thames in a very small boats. (small hire boats ;-) )
The Question is :- Are there any tidal restrictions on leaving Shepperton Lock and proceeding down stream and are their other issues I need to think about?
Was planning on leaving a LW -3hrs Shepperton which means would get to Limehouse abot 3hrs later (would have to then wait for draft to increase to go into marina) or option 2 would be to leave at LW Shepperton to arrive at Limehouse for a time when I could go straight in.
Vessel is a Twin screw Nelson 42, 1.2m Draft and 4.2m Air Draft.
