About 30 motor vessels of varying descriptions, all dressed overall, headed by a large tug with its water cannon going full bore motored out at about 8 knots went round the Richard Montgomery and then headed back into the river. Also involved were the RNLI, a Police launch and three military high speed dory type boats.
