Hi all - I bought a SHE 33 about 2 months ago.

I know she's Sparkman Stephens designed and South Hants Engineering built in 1979 - I also know from 2 month experience that she sails amazingly well (but most people seem to say that about their own boats)

I'm not finding a great deal of information on the internet (no owners association, not much information generally) so I'd be grateful if any of you have leads, information or if there are any owners or ex-owners around.

Thanks

sailboatdata.com has technical specs.
Sparkman and Stephens blog has info and drawings.
Sorry, don't know how to post links from iPad.

there is some basic info on the S&S site

http://sparkmanstephens.blogspot.co.uk/2011/09/desugn-2286-morning-star.html

with many drawings of other boats. the site is clunky, but you may find an individual boat has the lines of a production one such as the 33.

I contacted S&S office for outline dwgs of the She32, but they declined to let me have even outline dwgs without paying much money.

I have been experimenting with a jpg to dxf converter, without much success to produce a set of vector drawings. Somewhere in this world, someone will have a set of papers for the 32, 33, and 34 !

Hope you have lots of fun with your new boat.

I ended up contacting S&S direct on a build question I had and after the UK S&S club suggested I needed to join before anyone could help me.

I ended up in communication with their head of design who although he could not help me was extremely polite and helpful

Some time ago I found a rather poor copy of the hull sections for the S & S 34 - I doubt it was an S & S drawing, but nonetheless, it still shows the lovely tumblehome and hull shape.

Although I am not so sure that the horizontal and vertical scales are the same - she looks perhaps a bit too beamy for the freeboard (?).
