she 27 info wanted

I think I saw the boat of my dreams; a she 27. she looks fast enough for our club races, roomy enough for a crew of 2 and a child. but am I right? is it really a fast cruiser? who has experience with a she 27 ('79). and is is possible to repaire the worn out places on the shedeck. when bying her were should I pay extra attention to?
I'm living in holland near the ijsselmeer and sail most of the time solo or with friends. the summer holiday with family. it looks like my boat. can anyone give some advice?
