Is anyone interested in sharing a small new F22 Trimaran. I have sailed monohulls for years but now I am retired I fancy a faster fun sail on trailerable Trimarans. These designs are much faster than monohulls they have reached speeds of 20kts.

These boats are fast, stable and have extremly low draft of course which means access to shallow bays or even beaches that are not accessible to deeper draft boats.

Ian Farrier , a New Zealander has designed a number successful trimarans.

The latest, the F22, has been developed but production has not started yet but this should start soon and you will be able to import a 'boat in a box' for assembly in UK hopefully, unless he sells a franchise to a UK firm. The price has not been announced yet and my guess is that full production will not start until early next year.

I am unlikely to be able to afford to buy an F22 on my own as well as providing a trailer and vehicle to tow it so I am looking for a sailing partner.

I live in West Somerset but have kept boats on the River Exe in the past but a mooring is not necessary with a trailer sailer of course.

Please see www.f-boat.com for details of F22.
