Attached is a sketch of a rubber seal that I need for an old 1-1/4" Munster-Simms 'Whale' brass bilge pump.

Does anyone know where I can buy a couple of these, please?

(Ideally a supplier in South London or the Solent, or any point in between; otherwise one that does mail order)

Note

Munster-Sims Ltd no longer supply parts for these old pumps and the man who took over that part of the business (Mr Gilmore of Newtonards) also cannot supply these particular seals.

Radiospares (RS components)
Have a look at the website and change your measurements to metric -much cheaper than 'official' sources, and the seals have the same manufacturers markings as my original Jabsco ones.

Thanks for the various suggested sources. Unfortunately none were able to supply what I needed but eventually I managed to find a supplier:

FPE Ltd. www.fpe-ltd.co.uk

£2.50 each, minimum order £5, so one for the pump and one for spare

Hi everyone!

My names Sheila and I'm from Whale. If you ever have a problem finding spares for the old brass bilge pumps we have a local contact that can service these. Just call us on +44(0)28 9127 0531 and speak to Aiden.

Thanks

Sheila
