what does one do with it once holding tank is full.
do most marinas have a pump out or do we trip out to sea and dump ???
or even better dont use on board heads while in harbour ?

I've always tried to do the latter provided onshore bogs are less than a mile away /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
Some marinas have pump out stations but if tanks are full and there's no facility locally then afraid you've got no choice but to dump at sea - as far out as possible.

We always get far to excited out at sea, to remember to empty the bog. Then remember when all snuggly tied up again, promising next day we will have to remember this time!!

given the environmental pressures, and the likelihood that holding tanks will become mandatory, sooner or later, I'm appalled at the lack of pumpout facilities on the South coast. So it's three miles out, and round in slow circles for 10 minutes, I'm afraid.
