sewage tank

I need to fit a sewage holding tank. I am considering making it out of fibreglass moulded over a MDF mould to fit in bottom of cockpit locker. This would mean the gel coat would be internal. Has anyone built such a tank?

I built one last winter, glassing over a plywood mould and bonding a top on which I laid up on a piece of stainless steel. I had difficulty in getting the tank fittings to fit perfectly but eventually managed it. It has performed faultlessly over the summer being in constant use. If I were doing again I would glass in the connection tubes rather than attempt to use tank fittings.
