Once on the Sharpness canal, there are swing bridges, so no real bridge height issues. Back on the Severn, again, bridge heights are in the 20 ft region until above Worcester. The first bridge on the Avon is the King John. This is the gauge, and is about 10 ft max. I had to take the furniture off the radar arch on my Sunline 31, even then it was wait for a day when the level was below normal. Another tight bridge at Eckington, and not worth the effort above Evesham.
