Greece’s National Meteorological Service EMY has issued a Red Alet warning of significant weather deterioration with extreme weather phenomena heavy rainfalls, powerful storms, hail-falls and snow. According to EMY that has issued a weather red alert, the bad weather front will be coming from South-West, with gusty-winds up to 9 and locally up to 10 Beaufort.
As the weather front will be coming from the Sirte Gulf in Libya, the south winds will bring huge volume of Sahara Dust.
Greece will be the target of powerful air-streams, that is when air is moving with considerable force from an area of high pressure to an area of low pressure.

Tunisia ...
Well it's hitting us now , winds over night where above 60 mph and that's what we seen .
At the moment it's very wet , the big bins are being blown alone , part of the sea wall in the marina as been damaged . And one boat knocked partly off a trailer , two boat have had there sailed unfurled and there not much left of them . We expecting this to last till well in the evening before it starts to drop .

Stay safe Vic, nice and calm here in Scotland. We didn't have a BBQ outside at the weekend, so roundabouts and swings I guess. I expect you'd still rather be in Tunisia.:D

Looks as if it will be about 45kts max. where we left our boat, and likely to be blowing along the coast. Hopefully less chance of anyone in the yard blowing over as wind will be up the stern.
