Looks like we might get wet on the way to Windsor!
Chief Forecaster's assessment (Met Office):
A plume of very warm air is expected to move northwards from France early on Friday to affect southeastern parts of Britain. This is likely to provide a focus for locally intense thundery downpours which could readily give 15 mm of rain in less than an hour and perhaps as much as 25 mm, with 30-50 mm possibly falling within 3 hours.

Good ...thats the boat cleaned again .:)
Risking life and limb by going above the lock to Maidstone this weekend.
Advice desperately need about rowers/narrow channels/wind/working locks/flow rates/narrow boats/ shallow bits /aggresive poultry etc etc...
Been lying awake worrying about it all night.....Should i take out extra insurance and what about waypoints and passage planning, what about a radar course ?
all advice welcome.:)

The rowers as I recall love us going past them as fast as you can causing a large wake, I know this because they always wave enthusiastically at you! :) I suppose it's exciting for them?

Just had torrential downpour down here...................
Think the local boaters must all still be in hibernation ......... a bit early in season for them to be venturing out beyond entrance of marina perhaps ? :)
