Servicing time

for a saildrive service that seems alot. hour and a bit with a oil change, changing the lower seal the anode and removing / fixing back prop. He may of changed the two shaft seals as well (if these go then it's curtains for the sail drive) then he may off had to take the hub away to press the new ones back in at the workshop.

If it's a VP dealer they will charge you travelling time to and from your boat. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

If he serviced the engine as well 3.5 hours labour could be accounted for.

Depends what is a 'service'
Was it filters, oils, impellers and anodes - if so I could see a dealer sticking you for 3.5 hrs.
