I have one of the ever popular Bravo10 foot pumps that is a few years old but still works, just ! The inlet and outlet valves on the pump need replacing - the metal circlip type retainers for the flap valves have corroded away. However I cannot seem to find any parts for these pumps anywhere online - other than spares hoses. It seems crazy to pay £40 for a new pump when all the old one needs is 3 circles of rubber and three metal circlips - maybe a fivers worth. Anyone know where parts can be got ??

Ok, an update on progress.

I was unable to find a repair kit from the makers in Italy, but thanks to good old Ebay I've found the parts and fully repaired the pump for the princely sum of £3.99.

To replace the rubber valve flaps I found a 125 x 125mm sheet of black nitrile rubber, 0.5 mm thick on Ebay for £2.10 including postage. A pair of sharp scissors to cut the circles out using the old valve flap as a guide and a leather belt hole punch to cut the centre hole neatly and 15 minutes later you have 4 nice new replacement valves.

To hold them in place I've used A2 stainless steel E clips again from Ebay, 3.2 mm size (internal shaft size, not the external size of the clips) Pack of 10 cost £1.89 including postage. These are tricky to fit - if you are doing your own I found a pair of long nosed pliers holding the clip at 45 degree angle gripping in the centre of the clip allowed me to position them on the central plastic posts of the valves before I then withdrew the pliers and squeezed the clips on from the outside.

So for an hours work, and not a lot of cash I've got a fully working pump again with both low and high pressure inflation valves and the deflation valve working, and enough spare clips and material to replace the whole lot again at some point in the future
.
And a small offcut of 1/2 inch ply cut out to shape on the bandsaw has made a serviceable clip to replace the original plastic one to keep the pump folded, for nil cost.
