I have had many problems with my Navman 5505i (see post history) it kept losing sats and getting lost! It got progressivly worse over last season and I tried to update sofware etc... last sunday it failed 4 times over 7 hrs. Enough is enough i was so tempted to sling the blighter over the wall... only my concious for the envronment stopped me.
This week i sent it to the service center (see Ebay) and they found a fault on the aerial, replaced it and sent it back (£85). I tried it this evening and all was good and happy... it even worked below decks!! it was faltering previously under the sprayhood! Why did i not do this years ago!
