Serious Stuff

Hi ,

any pictures , more detail I cant see anything ?

Pardon?!!

I have used this adhesive and its claims seem justified (e.g. I cant clean the stuff off my scraper!). It claims to be usable on wet surfaces but the Evo-Stik (=Bostik?) website gives no constituent details. I wonder if it is a polyurethane based glue. The cartridge is coy in the extreme with details.

there are DOZENS of Evostik / Bostik products in their adhesive range.

Which one have you used please ?

seriously well done.

I was fooled by the original subtle approach....

Found it but it still doesn't reveal what the adhesive is. I suspect it is polyurethane.

O yes it does...near the top of the page... not polyurethane, but a silane polymer.

It is good stuff. Seriously. I used it 3 years ago to stick up new carpet head linings on a boat I was selling. I think you will need an angle grinder to get them down again. It does what it says on the tube.

Yes;- you're dead right;- thanks. I accessed a different page. Seems ideal for boaty stuff. One snag is it dries white (not transparent) which shows up on imperfect (= my) wood joints. But compared with West, for instance, so much more convenient and possibly stronger.
