Serious news for impecunious yachties to the Channel Islands

Yup - all in place now I think, but hasn't changed the issues on the 90/91 - was horrible last week trying to squeeze our four children and two dogs onto the 91 alongside all the elderly Americans and Aussies. Not particularly pleasant for them either, I dare say, but hey ho.

Didn't mean to delete. As long as they don't stop at L'Ancresse, it is probably worth it. However, nothing beats the island tour on a wet day.
Anyone else deleted when meant to edit?

Disappointing really. Having been one of those cruise liner passengers in the past we've enjoyed the bus ride for a pound, noting that the buses on the island are pretty clunky and not as shiny as the expensive ones on the mainland UK.

I guess that it just the rules of supply and demand being applied. Funnily enough the cheap and easy buses was one of the reasons we keep going back to Guernsey.

Have to find somewhere else to go now...

We live in one of the more afflent parts of the UK where demand on high quality public transport is considerable. We even use it ourselves on occassion. Believe me, the current fleet of Guernsey buses is better, perhaps you've not been for a while and remember the old green things that used to roam the isle?
