I have managed to sheer the drian cock off my Serck heat-exchanger, which is used to cool a TMP gearbox. It has sheered right up agaist the body of the heat exchanger and so it is difficult to give much information about the thread type other than it is half inch.

Does anyone know where I can get one of these? Serck don't have one, well it is 1970's vintage! Or alternatativly, where I can get a half inch silicon/bronze or aluminium/bronze bolt.

Does the end plate bolt onto the body? ours sprung a leak the other week it was the ally body that sucummed, the end plates and core were fine, managed to get a new body and "0" rings from Bowman in Birmingham they have a web site and may be able to help. We are also 1970's vintage.
