I need to send a 5 hp outboard from South Wales to Lancashire by carrier.

Anybody know the best way to do this and will they carry the empty fuel tank?

I was once stopped taking an empty fuel tank on a train.I Put it in a bag then caught the next one.

I have used Parcell force to send bikes to London. About £25 for 25 kilos.
Good web sight and tracking system.
Bikes had to be boxed I guess that this would be the same for outboard. I would air the tank for a day or so to get rid of any fumes and just hide it away in the packing?
Regards

I used a web carrier to do the job on an old evinrude 4 and mcculloch 2. I don't think either charged more'n'bout £10. That's integral tank though.... Do a google on parcel carriers. I think it was Parcels.net
