Selva outboard

I have just aquired a Selva outboard to go on a 10ft dingy. It has a 4 on the side and 85 on the back. Can anyone tell me what fuel mix I should use and any other useful information?

I dont know the selava at all, but suggest you try running it with a 40;1 mix which works well on a couple of old motors I use. If they continue smoking once warm you could go to 50:1 I would hesitate to go much more dilute on an old motor without specific information. The plug shouldnt be oily after a reasonable run at more than half throttle.
