First, sorry to have posted virtually the same question twice on two threads, but I think this one is a better fit - sorry if you are reading this twice.

I've got my London houseboat on the market, been there for a month on the obvious website, but no serious interest. I'm now wondering whether to go to a broker, and am keen for advice and other people's experiences - are they really more likely to get it sold more quickly than I would myself? Any advice about finding a good broker and what to look for or avoid? And finally, any other non-obvious venues for letting the boating community in London know that I have a floaty thing on the market? Mailing lists? Forums? Very grateful for any thoughts.

I expect you have already tried the obvious websites namely boats and outboards and Apollo duck. Other than that I can't think of much else. Houseboats are somewhat a rarity and don't fall within the realm of most people's experiences.
