Selling my Hunter 23\'

My wife - who is my crew is ill - and I can't see much of a season for us this coming year. I have a Hunter Horizon 23' built in 1992. I had the boat re-engined with a diesel 2 years ago - it is a Beta 13.5HP - and the boat is in good to excellent condition.

The question is - what price folks? I paid £12500 for the boat - is it worth any more having made /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif it motor!

You will get more for the boat with a new diesel. Probably unlikely that you will get back the full cost of buying/ installing it.

I would search all the brokers websites boats and outboards site etc to try and gauge what similar ones are selling for.

At least the boat will now be more attractive to buyers who may have previously been put off by the outboard.

You should consider how much time you have and whether you need to be with your wife all the time.
It may be a good idea to get away for a while if that's practical. A Hunter 23 will be the IDEAL boat for single handing.
