Selling boats in the Algarve

My Dad's trying to sell his immaculate Westerly Fulmar which is based in the Algarve. except for the usual channels (Boatsandoutboards, Appolloduck etc) where else should he advertise?

I think that Aidy is referring to the quality of the new YBW Boats for sale section/search engine, it is not quite as good as the old one.

Do a google search for Westerly Fulmar.See what comes up and advertise there. Imagine you are a buyer..

I am not sure I would use the term 'pretty' to describe the marina at Albufeira. I would suggest that you may have more success in the Algarve using an agent, and from my experience as a potential buyer the one based in Portimao Marina is good.

If you want a broker try Russell at Boatshed Algarve, they are in Albufeira and will take loads of photos etc and being on hand they can do viewings etc. I've no connection with then other than they have my boat on their books as my boat is in the Spanish Algarve and they are the nearest broker.

Also you could try David Hardy at Trafalgar Yacht Services in Fareham as he is a Westerly specialist, and may have people on his books....

I sold my Roberts 44 there, broker was 'Williams and Smithells' excellent service. They have sold friends boats since. Other brokers, based on the Algarve were a waste of time.
