selling boats, has the bottom fallen out ?

If it's on the web why can't I find it on Boats and Outboards or Appollo Duck?
That could be the first problem.

The market for trimarans is probably pretty small and add in the plywood to the mix and I reckon your market is very small.

So if you've overpriced it as well............ ergo - nil response.

Not easy to find!

You're right, it's not easy to find on t'interweb. I found it here, but that's an out of date page and can't be reached through the broker's home page.

The market for small trimarans must be tiny, so the only way to sell it will be by listing it with as many brokers as possible at a really keen price.

Ah, you didn't say what it was.
You seem to get a lot for the money provided you want a cat without much accomodation, which isn't why most people buy cats I would think.
I reckon you're appealing to a very small audience.

Had a look at Moody's secondhand boat show yesterday. They had a board with boats that had been sold: looked to be 30 out of about 100 on show that were under offer. I thought that seemed pretty good.

At the weekend saw one broker with a sign on their notice board appealing for monohulls in the 30 to 35' range as they were very short of them....

Agree with above comments... to sell something very specialised, you either need to be very keen on price, lucky or take it to specialists.....

Which broker Magna? May be somewhere to head soon, a couple more jobs to do, then I think it's on the market for mine. I just hope there is one to put it on.
Jem.
