Self-priming bilge pump replacement

Our Oceanis 320 is fitted with this Jabsco 37202 bilge pump that is clearly a few years old. It appears to work fine, primes and pumps as expected but it is beginning to rust in places, particularly the fasteners that hold the pump body together.

At the very least I think it is probably due a service kit. If I was to consider replacing it, other than the same/newer Jabsco model, is there an alternative worth considering?

If it works I would possibly strip it down a bit, de-rust as much as possible and then smear with a water repellent. Possibly ACF-50 spray, lanolin, etc.

The rust is at present from the picture only superficial.

Hammerite metal primer, then a spray of the Hammerite that you like. Optionally, Fertan treatment first.
