I am considering a self build project is there anybody out there who has done it? I would idealy like to build a pilot house motorsailor again any advice on a boat about 28ft ish max draft about 3ft 6 ish

This is a major commitment! Do you have the time and perseverance. I am only fitting out a hull and it has taken me three years so far.Have you somwhere close to work on it?Buy or borrow books written by people who have done it.Unfortunately there are many unfinished projects around. Self build beware -- but go for if you can -- its very satisfying!
